The new Golden Pass Express features three travel classes: 2nd Class, 1st Class, and the exclusive Prestige Class. Prestige Class stands out with its spacious, adjustable seats, which can be heated and rotated by onboard staff to always face the direction of travel.

Thanks to the elevated seating position and floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, Prestige Class delivers an unforgettable travel experience. Please note that a valid train ticket is required in addition to the seat reservation.

The GoldenPass Express connects Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva with Interlaken Ost in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, covering 115 km of some of Switzerland’s most celebrated scenery. The route passes through the Swiss Riviera, climbs into the rolling pre-alpine hills of the Pays-d’Enhaut, and descends through the Simmental valley towards Interlaken — with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau waiting at the journey’s end. Meeting points are Montreux station and Interlaken Ost station.
