Terms & Conditions (AGB) – goswiss.ch
Last updated: 4 September 2026
1. Operator and scope
The website https://goswiss.ch (the “Portal”) is operated by:
Zwiss GmbH
Company/VAT number: CHE-444.407.337
Undere Waldmattenstrasse 11
3778 Schönried, Switzerland
Email: [email protected]
Phone: +41 79 815 10 00
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to use of the Portal and to enquiries, reservations and bookings made through it. By submitting a booking or enquiry, the customer (“Customer” or “you”) agrees to these Terms and to any product-specific conditions displayed during booking or stated in the booking confirmation.
Product-specific conditions, including those concerning cancellation, refund, exchange, validity, participation and admission, take precedence over these general Terms where they differ.
Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
2. Definitions
- Provider means an independent third party that supplies a travel, transport, admission, accommodation, activity, tour, event or other service.
- Intermediary Service means a service for which Zwiss GmbH arranges a contract between the Customer and a Provider.
- GoSwiss Service means a service supplied directly by Zwiss GmbH and clearly identified as such during booking.
- Service Details means the description, price, date, schedule, inclusions, exclusions and conditions displayed on the Portal or otherwise communicated before booking.
- Booking Confirmation means the email, ticket, voucher or other communication confirming that a booking has been accepted.
3. Role of Zwiss GmbH
For most third-party products, Zwiss GmbH acts as an intermediary between the Customer and the relevant Provider. In those cases, the contract for performance of the booked service is concluded directly between the Customer and the Provider. The Provider is responsible for performing the service in accordance with its own applicable conditions.
Where a product is expressly described as operated or supplied by Zwiss GmbH, Zwiss GmbH is the contracting service provider for that product.
If a booking constitutes a package within the meaning of the Swiss Package Travel Act, any mandatory rights and obligations under that legislation apply regardless of any inconsistent provision in these Terms.
4. Eligibility and customer information
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to make a booking. If you book for other participants, you confirm that you are authorised to act for them and that you will provide them with the applicable Service Details and conditions.
You must provide complete and accurate information, including names exactly as shown on travel documents where required, contact details, dates, ages, discount-card details and any information needed to deliver the service. You are responsible for checking all information before payment and immediately after receiving the Booking Confirmation.
Errors must be reported without delay. Corrections may be subject to availability, Provider rules and additional fees. Zwiss GmbH is not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect information supplied by the Customer.
5. Accounts and Portal security
If an account is required, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity conducted through your account. You must promptly notify Zwiss GmbH of suspected unauthorised access.
You may not misuse the Portal, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, use automated systems without permission, submit fraudulent information or use the Portal for unlawful purposes. Zwiss GmbH may suspend access or decline a transaction where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
6. Booking and contract formation
Submitting a booking and completing payment constitutes an offer to purchase the selected service. An automated acknowledgement or payment authorisation does not by itself confirm acceptance.
A binding contract is formed only when Zwiss GmbH issues a Booking Confirmation. If the booking cannot be accepted after payment has been authorised or collected, the amount will be released or refunded to the original payment method.
Availability and prices may change until the Booking Confirmation is issued. Zwiss GmbH may reject a booking for legitimate reasons, including lack of availability, an obvious pricing or technical error, suspected fraud, payment failure, sanctions or other legal restrictions.
7. Prices, taxes and fees
Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) unless another currency is expressly stated. The price and included items are those displayed before checkout and confirmed in the Booking Confirmation.
Local taxes, tourist taxes, deposits, optional extras, Provider surcharges or other amounts payable onsite are not included unless expressly stated. Any GoSwiss service or processing fee will be disclosed before payment.
If your payment account uses another currency, your bank or card issuer determines the conversion rate and may charge additional fees. Zwiss GmbH is not responsible for those rates or fees.
An obviously incorrect price resulting from a typographical, technical or supplier error does not bind Zwiss GmbH or the Provider. If such an error is discovered after booking, you will be offered the correct price or a full refund if you do not wish to proceed.
8. Payment through Stripe
Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorise Stripe and the relevant financial institutions to process the transaction and the information necessary for payment, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
Zwiss GmbH does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Payment processing is also subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy information.
Stripe, Zwiss GmbH, a card issuer or another payment participant may request verification or reject, block or reverse a transaction where reasonably necessary. A booking is not confirmed merely because a payment has been authorised.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact [email protected] promptly so that the matter can be investigated. This does not limit any statutory rights or rights available through your card issuer.
9. Tickets, vouchers and travel documents
Tickets and vouchers may be issued electronically. You are responsible for providing a working email address, checking your inbox and spam folder, downloading the documents and presenting them in the required form.
You must check names, dates, routes, times, passenger categories, travel class and other details immediately after receipt. Unless the product-specific conditions permit changes, dated or personalised tickets, seat reservations, admissions and other fixed inventory may be non-changeable and non-refundable once issued.
Possession of a ticket or voucher does not remove the Customer’s responsibility to hold valid identification, passports, visas, permits, insurance, travel cards or other documents required for the service. The Customer is responsible for complying with check-in, boarding, admission and Provider rules.
10. Cancellation by the Customer
The cancellation conditions displayed for the selected product during booking and stated in the Booking Confirmation apply. Some services may offer free cancellation up to a specified deadline, while others—including certain transport tickets, seat reservations, timed admissions, event tickets, accommodation rates and customised services—may be non-refundable or subject to cancellation charges from the time of booking.
There is no general right to free cancellation within 24 hours unless it is expressly stated for the product concerned.
A cancellation is effective only when received through the cancellation method stated in the Booking Confirmation or confirmed in writing by Zwiss GmbH. Deadlines are calculated using the local time at the service location. Failure to use a booking does not constitute cancellation.
Where a refund is due, Zwiss GmbH will normally initiate it through Stripe to the original payment method within three business days after eligibility has been confirmed. The Customer’s bank or card issuer may require additional processing time. Provider charges, non-refundable items and any service fee identified as non-refundable may be deducted where permitted by the applicable conditions and law.
11. Changes requested by the Customer
Requests to change a date, time, route, name, participant count or other booking detail are subject to availability and the applicable Provider or product conditions. Any fare difference, Provider fee or disclosed administrative fee must be paid before the change is confirmed.
A requested change is effective only after written confirmation. If it cannot be accommodated, the original booking remains valid unless it is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions.
12. Provider or GoSwiss cancellations and changes
A Provider or Zwiss GmbH may make reasonably necessary changes or cancel a service because of weather, safety, operational issues, low participation, transport disruption, regulatory requirements, force majeure or another circumstance outside reasonable control.
If a service is cancelled before it begins and no acceptable replacement is offered, you will receive the remedy required by the applicable product conditions and mandatory law, normally a refund of the affected service. If you accept a replacement or rescheduled service, no additional refund is due for the replaced service unless otherwise agreed.
Minor changes that do not materially affect the service do not entitle the Customer to cancel without charge. For a material change, Zwiss GmbH will communicate the available options as soon as reasonably possible.
13. Late arrival, missed connections and no-shows
You must arrive at the stated meeting, check-in, boarding or departure point by the required time. Late arrival or failure to attend may be treated as a no-show and may result in loss of the service without refund.
Unless a connected itinerary is expressly sold with a guaranteed connection, Zwiss GmbH and the Provider are not responsible for a missed service caused by traffic, delayed transport, insufficient connection time or other elements outside the booked service. Customers should allow reasonable additional time.
14. Participation, conduct and safety
You must follow safety instructions, local laws and reasonable Provider rules. A Provider may refuse or end participation without refund where a person poses a safety risk, behaves abusively, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, lacks required equipment or documentation, or does not meet disclosed age, health, fitness or other participation requirements.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for minors in their care. Any disability, reduced mobility, allergy, medical condition or special requirement that may affect participation should be disclosed before booking. Zwiss GmbH will seek relevant information and reasonable assistance but cannot guarantee suitability unless expressly confirmed.
15. Accommodation and transport
Accommodation classifications, facilities and room descriptions follow information supplied by the Provider or relevant classification body. Check-in requirements, deposits and house rules may apply.
Transport schedules, platforms, rolling stock, routes and seat assignments may change. A transport ticket does not guarantee a seat unless a seat reservation is expressly included. Customers must verify current departure information and carry any required discount or travel card.
16. Complaints and assistance
If a problem occurs during a service, you must notify the Provider immediately and give it a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. You should also contact Zwiss GmbH as soon as practical at [email protected].
After the service, complaints should be submitted in writing without undue delay and should include the booking reference, a clear description and relevant evidence. Delay may make investigation more difficult but does not remove mandatory legal rights.
For Intermediary Services, Zwiss GmbH will reasonably assist communication with the Provider but cannot guarantee the outcome of a claim governed by the Provider’s contract.
17. Liability
Each Provider is responsible for performing the service it contracts to provide. For Intermediary Services, Zwiss GmbH is responsible for exercising due care in providing its own booking and intermediary services, but not for the Provider’s performance except where liability is imposed by mandatory law.
For GoSwiss Services, Zwiss GmbH is responsible in accordance with applicable Swiss law.
To the extent permitted by law, Zwiss GmbH is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity, or for loss caused by information or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
Information supplied by Providers is presented with reasonable care, but schedules, descriptions, images and availability may change. Zwiss GmbH does not guarantee that the Portal will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
The Customer is responsible for loss caused by the Customer’s unlawful use of the Portal, breach of these Terms or violation of Provider rules, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Force majeure
Neither Zwiss GmbH nor a Provider is responsible for failure or delay caused by an event beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, strike, war, civil unrest, governmental action, closure, utility or telecommunications failure, cyberattack, transport disruption or safety emergency.
The consequences for cancellation, rescheduling or refund are governed by mandatory law and the applicable product or Provider conditions. Zwiss GmbH will provide reasonable information and assistance.
19. Travel insurance
Customers are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, accident, interruption, missed departure, baggage and other relevant risks. Insurance is not included unless expressly stated.
20. Intellectual property
The Portal and its text, branding, logos, graphics, software and original content are owned by or licensed to Zwiss GmbH and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, scraped or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Provider names, trademarks and images remain the property of their respective owners.
21. Reviews and user content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that the content is lawful and does not infringe another person’s rights.
You grant Zwiss GmbH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt and display that content for operating and promoting GoSwiss. You retain ownership of your content. You may request removal from future use by contacting [email protected], subject to reasonable processing time and any legal retention obligations.
Zwiss GmbH may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, irrelevant or infringing. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy & Cookie Policy.
22. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GoSwiss Privacy & Cookie Policy available at https://goswiss.ch/privacy-cookie-policy. Stripe and Providers may process personal data independently under their own privacy notices where necessary to process payment or perform a booking.
23. Third-party links and systems
The Portal may contain links to third-party websites and relies on third-party technology, including Stripe, hosting, communications and security services. Zwiss GmbH is not responsible for third-party websites or interruptions outside its reasonable control, subject always to mandatory law.
24. Amendments
Zwiss GmbH may amend these Terms from time to time. The version presented or linked during booking applies to that booking. Later changes do not retroactively alter a confirmed booking unless required by law or agreed with the Customer.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision will be replaced, to the extent legally possible, by a valid provision that most closely reflects its purpose.
26. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and the contractual relationship are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
The courts at the registered seat of Zwiss GmbH have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules. In particular, any mandatory right of a consumer to bring or defend proceedings in another competent court remains unaffected.

This includes selected services such as:

For popular mountain excursions and panoramic routes, we recommend checking reservation requirements before travelling, especially during the high season.

If your journey starts or ends outside Switzerland, you may need an additional international ticket for the part of the journey that is not covered by your pass.
Always check the coverage for your specific route before travelling.
